Back to Elevators

Safety at every level

Emergency power, rescue controls and protective systems, planned around your elevator configuration.

Power off.
A way back to the landing.

On compatible configurations, emergency power supports controlled levelling during a power interruption, bringing the cabin to a landing so passengers can leave.

Emergency power

Backup power supports the emergency levelling function when the mains supply is interrupted.

Controlled levelling

The cabin moves to a landing level rather than remaining between floors.

Landing access

Levelling brings the cabin into position for passengers to leave through the entrance.

One-touch rescue

An in-cabin rescue control with voice guidance provides an additional emergency levelling function on compatible configurations.

Two functions. A shared purpose.

Power-loss levelling uses emergency power during an interruption. The in-cabin rescue control provides a passenger-initiated rescue function. The available functions depend on the selected control system and elevator configuration.

Discuss Rescue Configuration

Protection beyond emergency levelling

Protection at the entrance

Light-curtain sensing and contact protection help detect obstructions around the door opening.

Door protection combines non-contact sensing with contact detection as part of the selected entrance configuration.

Controlled movement

The overspeed governor and safety gear form a linked protection system.

The governor monitors speed, while the safety gear provides mechanical protection against excessive speed.

Light and communication

Emergency lighting, alarm signalling and external communication help passengers stay connected.

These functions support communication when assistance is required and complement the emergency power and rescue configuration.
